I am a visual artist, born and based in Berlin. My work revolves around questions of migration, belonging, and our impact on the environment. I believe that our ability to see gives us agency to act, and that photography can be a powerful tool for community (and self-) empowerment. I tend to work on long-term projects that allow me to build relationships with people and place. Publications include The Independent, Huffington Post, AFP, Bloomberg, Grazia France, Marie Claire Australia, The American Scholar, Berliner Morgenpost, Der Tagesspiegel, Neues Deutschland.
I work as a photographer, educator and cultural mediator, and am available for commissions world-wide. Fluent in German, English, French, Portugese; basic Spanish and Arabic.
