Born and based in Berlin, I specialize in travel and reportage photography with an emphasis on long-term projects that allow me to build relationships with people. My work revolves around question of migration, belonging, and our impact on the environment. I strongly believe that our ability to see also gives us the agency to act, and that photography can be a powerful tool for community (and self-) empowerment. I am fascinated by language in all its forms - words, images, the stories we choose to tell and those that we don't.

Former photo assistant to photographers John Angerson and Mark Cocksedge, London.

Former staff photographer and cultural mediator at Forum Réfugiés-Cosi, Lyon, France.
